C103 Niobium
C103 Niobium is a malleable refractory metal denoted by the Nb symbol on the periodic table. It exhibits resilience in high-temperature environments by having a high melting point and inherent corrosion-resistant properties. Niobium presents as a lustrous silver metal, owed to a protective oxide layer on its surface. It is easily fabricated, bio-compatible, and exhibits high thermal and electric conductivity. Niobium is also found in other metals as an alloying element, including stainless steel. The addition of Niobium improves the strength of alloys, especially at lower temperatures.
